Seachtain na Gaeilge 2011
Seachtain na Gaeilge was celebrated in style in Scoil Mhuire. Bhí Tráth na gCeist againn gach maidin. Bhí sean fhocail agus pictiúirí le feiceáil i ngach áit. Dé Ceadaoin, 16ú Marta bhí ceol agus craic mór againn sa halla. Bhí Bean Uí Mhorán go hiontach mar M.C. Tháinig Nicola isteach lena ceoltóirí. Bhí rímeanna, amhráin, rince agus ceol againn. Sa tráthnóna bhí Céilí againn agus bhi M.C. iontach eile againn, Bean Uí Cheallaigh! Bhí ceol álainn le cloisteáil ó Martin, Paddy agus Mick. Dearfainn go raibh gach dath glas faoin spéir le feiceáil sa halla. Míle buiochas do Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Moran, Nicola, na Rinceoirí. na Ceoltóirí, na múinteoirí agus do na páistí go léir as ucht an lá. A big thank you also to our parents for the beautiful green and gold outfits worn by our boys and girls.
There was a talk on shared reading for all first class parents in the hall at 7.30. on Wed. February 2nd. The boys and girls are now getting some lovely books to read at home with their parents. We hope it is a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all.
