Farewell Frances 08/10/2021

On Friday we celebrated France’s retirement with her. She is loved by children, staff, parents and anyone who met her, for her kindness, efficiency and good humour. Everyone wore bright colours to celebrate. Ms Kealy coordinated a video with messages from all the staff and classes. Ms Dwyer wrote a song to the tune of Abba’s Dancing Queen, which everybody sang in the yard in her honour. We would like to thank everybody who made it such a special day. We wish her many happy years of health, happiness and fun with her family. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Ms  Theresa Kelly, our new secretary, to the school. We hope she will be very happy here in the Pres.

Here is Frances with one representative from each classroom, all wishing her well on her last day.

We all waited for the guest of honour. Ms Browne provided the music.
Ms Dwyer provided the words.
