October was a very busy month in the Pres. We said farewell to Frances. We checked to see how our Junior Infants were getting on and of course we had Halloween art and dressing up day.
Farewell Frances 08/10/2021
On Friday we celebrated France’s retirement with her. She is loved by children, staff, parents and anyone who met her, for her kindness, efficiency and good humour. Everyone wore bright colours to celebrate. Ms Kealy coordinated a video with messages from all the staff and classes. Ms Dwyer wrote a song to the tune of Abba’s Dancing Queen, which everybody sang in the yard in her honour. We would like to thank everybody who made it such a special day. We wish her many happy years of health, happiness and fun with her family. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Ms Theresa Kelly, our new secretary, to the school. We hope she will be very happy here in the Pres.
Here is Frances with one representative from each classroom, all wishing her well on her last day.
The whole event gets the thumbs up from the lady herself!
Baby Seanie slept through his Granny’s farewell!
Pres Baby Boys: congratulations to Ms Kelly, Ms Hennessy, Ms Simpson and Ms O’ Donoghue on the birth of their baby boys recently. We wish themselves and their families all the best with their bundles of joy.

We have lots of happy boys and girls in Rooms 1, 2 and 3
Our student noticeboard has a great display of some of the art work that is going on around the school this term.
There was some wonderful art work to be seen all around the school. Here are some examples.
Halloween Dressing Up Day 22/10/21
We had a great day at school on Friday October 22nd. All the staff and boys and girls dressed up. There were some amazing outfits to be seen all around the school.
Everybody had a great day. We would like to thank you all for making such a big effort to make it such fun, and for contributing to school funds. We hope everybody enjoyed the mid term break, had fun and stayed safe.
