Presentation Football Team

Our girls’s football team is back in action and competing in their second season. They had a wonderful win against a Competitive Goresbridge team on October 8th. The first match of the season was against St Canice’s and then the Gealscoil was next.  The girls showed tremendous spirit in those matches. The team is going from strength to strength since last year. They learned the skills, like hand passing, kicking, tackling and blocking and the solo at lunch time. Briain Riain very kindly came to do a session with the girls and talked about inclusion, participation and enjoyment. We appreciated that. Thank you Briain. They had great fun last year playing a league and everybody enjoyed the “All Ireland Final” at the end.  Míle buiochas do na muinteoirí freisin. Don’t forget all new players are welcome. We wish the team and their coaches all very the best for the rest of the year.

Members of our our victorious football team on October 8th. Scoil Mhuire abú!
