Christmas 2016

December is such a busy time for us here in The Pres! The Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Classes were rehearsing their plays. There was beautiful singing of carols to be heard around the school. There was wonderful Winter and Christmas arts and crafts going on in all the classrooms.

Kilkenny Christmas Tree Festival, part of Yulefest kilkenny, took place in St Canice’s Cathedral from December 9th to 17th. This is an event which displays trees of all makes, shapes and sizes. This year Senior Infant boys and girls from Room 9 and Second Class girls from Room 10 displayed their trees. Congratulations Mrs Millea’s  Second Class who were the winners!
